Spring on the Sunshine Coast

Spring has sprung and it’s one of the best times of the year to visit Queensland’s Sunshine Coast.

1. Renowned for crisp, clear mornings, head to the top of Noosa Heads Laguna Lookout and catch the sun as it rises across the ocean.

2. Every Sunday from 8am-2pm, the waterside precinct comes to life for the Noosa Marina Market with stalls, live music, delicious food and fun for all ages.

3. Directly opposite Mooloolaba Beach is The Good Bean, a morning ritual for those catching the spring sun with an early surf, swim or walk on the boardwalk.

4. Spring is the perfect season to be outdoors, so take a day trip to the home of The Crocodile Hunter at Australia Zoo. Discover creatures great and small, native and exotic.

5. Hire a bike from your Resort and take a leisurely ride along the stunning coastline, soaking up the scenery at your own pace.

6. Sit outside in the gentle spring breeze with unspoilt sweeping views from Alexandra Headland to Maroochydore at Alex Bar and Grill. It’s no surprise why this steak house is a favourite amongst locals and visitors, with tastebud tempting eats, a diverse range of brews from craft to classic and all overlooking one of the Sunny Coast’s most beautiful beaches.

7. Explore the rainbow of colour at Noosa Botanic Gardens while everything is in full bloom.

8. Fancy a dip in the ocean but don’t want to brave the waves? Head to the Fairy Pools in Noosa National Park, two natural tidal pools. Beat the local summer crowds and experience them for yourself in spring.
