Team Classic Conquer Red Centre in Great Endeavour Rally
Team Classic has taken on the vast Australian outback, rallying for a cause in the 2016 Great Endeavour Rally to raise funds for Australian charity, Endeavour Foundation.
Classic Holidays’ CEO Ramy Filo and Resort Operations’ Morrison Duncan travelled more than 8,000 kilometres in the ten day rally from Ipswich to Uluru and back in their car, ‘The Silver Gremlin’.
The leading Resort and Club Management Company raised over $20,500 for the charity, smashing their fundraising goals for the second year in a row.
Classic Holidays CEO Ramy Filo expressed his gratitude to Endeavour Foundation and all the individuals and businesses that supported them and donated to this worthy cause.
“The 2016 Great Endeavour Rally was the best organised we have been on,” said Mr Filo. “We met some great people had a bunch of fun each night and caught up with new and old friends.
“It was a fantastic opportunity to not only see Australia’s vast outback but to give back to those most in need,” he said.
Endeavour Foundation supports individuals with a disability in regional communities across Australia through education, life skill development, employment, accommodation support, respite and recreation.
“The funds raised from the rally will give those in regional communities that live with a disability greater support through increased opportunities for choice, control, independence and inclusion,” said Mr Filo.
While the team achieved their goal of completing every rally stage of the event, they more importantly finished third overall in fundraising.
“We look forward to the 2017 Great Endeavour Rally, as we will definitely be back again.”
