Direct access to Kellys Beach sets Don Pancho apart from many other Bargara resorts. So does its restaurant. It is, quite simply, superb. And if you find yourself unable to resist the sublime desserts, console yourself with the thought that the walks along the beach or the esplanade or golf at the course just across the road will be both enjoyable and useful.
Its older Mediterranean styling is well maintained by very friendly staff and comes with many mod cons, including two covered BBQ areas, one of which overlooks the beach. You may be lucky enough to spot turtle-laying or egg-hatching right in front of the resort, but don’t stress if that doesn’t happen; Mon Repos is close by, is inexpensive and offers much more of a chance.
